## DM Note
I ran this campaign as a westmarches over the course of 6-8 months with a group of 20 people from level 3-12. It was chaotic and fun, and in this chaos I lacked the foresight to understand what I was creating. I did not take thorough recap notes (or I have absolutely no clue where I saved them 10 years ago). I will summarize very briefly what happened in the grand scheme of things to lay out a foundation for the following campaign recaps. I will try to not make up *too* much to fill the gaps in my withering memory.
The following timeline covers 7 years of marvelous fun and crafted adventure with some of the best and brightest people I have had the pleasure of knowing.

# The Burgeoning
#### 0 AB to 12 AB
> [!danger]+ DM Memory
> In the beginning there was only one waiting for the new arrivals at [[Fourfield]]. A Tiefling by the name of [[Zinfandel (Thammuz)]] stood atop a crate begging the adventurers to harken to his plea and find his missing druid friend.
## Portals In Galantor
**The Beginning**
##### 0 - 11 AB (After Burgeoning)
A number of individuals appeared in [[Galantor]]. Among them were nine individuals of power that decided to tame the wilderness and create their own hierarchy. They spread to every corner of the realm and isolated themselves. Plotting and scheming to overcome one another. [[Zinfandel (Thammuz)]], a cunning Devil, plotted with his angelic kin to bring strong allies to this realm to bolster their bid against the Devils and Fiends that sought their undoing.
## The Discovery of the First Primal God: [[Ignus - Primal God of Fire]]
**Discovery**
##### 9 AB
The Primal God [[Ignus - Primal God of Fire]] was discovered by a band of Chronal Adventurers underneath [[Razormount]] and [[Fourfield]]. Some believe the [[2. Settlements/Points of Interest/Elemental Forges]] in Fourfield to be from this deity's providence.
## The Chronal Break
**Metaphysical / Paranormal event**
##### 10 AB
Thammuz and his counterpart [[Craviel]] succeed in bringing a group of powerful adventurers to [[Galantor]]. They use a series of pillars found in the [[Farthian Desert]] to the South of Fourfield to turn time back until they are able to defeat the great fiend [[Vizier Terrorcry]].
## The Battle of [[Fourfield]]
**Civil action**
##### 11 AB
The heroes gathered during [[the Burgeoning]] gathered to defend [[Fourfield]] from the Yugoloth [[Vizier Terrorcry]]. He was defeated with the combined might of the adventurers and they spread to the world beyond. Their influence on Fourfield was forever felt. [[Destrethor]] (a lieutenant of Terrorcry) unleashed a plague upon the realm from the Mountains north of Fourfield with his death. [[Pallas Zion]] (another lieutenant of Terrorcry) aided the adventurers in exchange for a juvenile Kraken. Promises were made to turn some of the adventurers into one of "[[The Nine]]". The rumored demi gods of the realm that held sway over the celestial bodies linking this realm to others.
---
# The Exodus
#### 12 AB to 187 AB
> [!danger]+ DM Memory
> In the wake of the first campaign some adventurers chose to remain in Galantor despite having been stolen away from their homes. These became known as [[The Nine]]. The adventurers had no idea that they had unleashed a tyrant upon the realm when they chose to deal with the infamous [[Pallas Zion]]. They only took pleasure in the fact that they had saved Galantor from the wicked machinations of [[Vizier Terrorcry]] who was now imprisoned in the [[Plane of Memory]] under the watch of [[Feladrin The Threshing God God of Memory and Afterlife Sorting]].
## Fallout of the Outsiders
**Population Migration / Travel**
##### 12 AB - 112 AB
**These adventurers who were brought to the land shaped the face of [[Galantor]] whether by their intention or not.**
[[Gawain Greenfeather]]: the architect of chronal manipulation remained at the [[Pillars of Time]] in the [[Farthian Desert]].
---
[[Echo and Shadris.jpg]]: Perished in the forests to the West of Fourfield, sacrificing his soul to the lands. Some say he resides still within [[Echo Forest]] taunting and guiding the lost.
---
[[Sprocket Truegift]]: Formed the first inventor's guild in Fourfield. A line of Tinkerers with the spark of the Truegift have flourished throughout Galantor.
---
Vindik: The Half Orc became [[Vindiktus The Dancer God of Vengeance]] and is worshipped heavily in the Southern reaches of Galantor. His fiery soul immortalized as the holy smiter of [[Vizier Terrorcry]] and the one who freed the lands from eternal fiendish bond.
---
[[Jedidiah Banesfree]] wandered to the central plains of Galantor. He went on to settle the town [[Banesford]] where he is interred in a hidden tomb that also acts as a portal to the [[2. Settlements/Points of Interest/Elemental Forges]] of fire.
---
[[Edryk Silentsea]] wandered to the northernmost peninsula of Galantor.
---
[[Varg the Bard]] wandered to the central Galantor swamplands beyond [[The Red Wall]].
---
## Founding of [[Taembria]]
**Founding**
##### 45 AB
The city [[Taembria]] was seeded and funded by [[Vizier Terrorcry]] before his death. His Yugoloth contracts left hundreds of wealthy Devil contractors in possession of a plot of land on the Western coast of Galantor. It quickly became a mecca of contracts and orderly growth. Without the corruption of Vizier Terrorcry, the city blossomed into a fiercely competitive industrialized home for those seeking asylum from the Nine Hells. It may be Hell on Earth, but so long as you abide the law, it is a far cry from an actual plane of Hell.
## The Summoning of [[Fahshulzgarath The Hunger]] and the Creation of the Underdark
**Disaster / Destruction**
##### 46 AB
A group of Drow priestesses summoned [[Fahshulzgarath The Hunger]] from [[The Great Beyond]] in an attempt to bind his power to their own. The meager underground caverns that existed in Galantor grew in the coming sixty years of his underground traversal. [[The Underdark]] was borne in his wake as they lost control of him and he churned void in the place of earth. His coming also spawned the birth of aberrations and mind flayers.
## The Discovery of [[The Maker Malthag Primal God of the Earth]] - The Second Primal God
**Discovery, Exploration**
##### 105 AB
The second Primal God [[The Maker Malthag Primal God of the Earth]] was discovered and became known. It is rumored he was subdued briefly by an individual known as [[The Wizard Prime]], an extra-planar being that twisted Malthag's power to create [[Coronite]] which shaped the future of Galantor drastically and eventually caused [[The Glass Plague]].
## The Founding of [[Keirhall]]
**Founding**
##### 111 AB - 112 AB
Those brought to Galantor from [[The Burgeoning]] went on to blaze new trails. Among them was a wizard from [[Fourfield]] by the name of Taldred who was later discovered to be [[The Wizard Prime]]. He founded Fourfield with a group of Dwarven miners and Halfling farmers who discovered the ore rich Northern [[Barrier Mountains]]. With the alchemical aid of wizardry and the Dwarven mind of delving, a rare ore was discovered and the city boomed into a miniature metropolis of technological advancement.

# The Age of Terrors
#### 187 AB and Beyond
> [!danger]+ DM Memory
> The Age of Terrors was the beginning of campaign 3 and our inception of [[Taembria]]. At this point I was seeding and creating cities and regions with the players from the Galantor West Marches game (Campaign 1) and had already run a campaign in [[Keirhall]]. The timeline required some delicate manipulation, so we went back in time and ran an adventure to seed Taembria prior to the discovery of [[Coronite]]. This allowed us to explore a small piece of [[The Underdark]] as [[Fahshulzgarath The Hunger]] appeared South of the city and revealed that the hungering god had carved out swathes of cave under the surface of [[Galantor]].
>
> The remaining campaigns take place in this time period 2-3 hundred years after the Burgeoning.
>
## The Hunger From the Great Beyond ([[3. Campaign Three - The Crescent City]])
**Criminal Activity**
##### 213 AB
The Devils in [[Taembria]] attempted to steal "The Hunger" from the Great Beyond / Far Realms. This resulted in a brief period of chaos, drug addiction, and natural disaster as the Worm and his cohorts spread insanity through the streets. As The Hunger (Fahshulzgarath) erupted from beneath the world and destroyed some of the city before being returned home to its native plane [[The Great Beyond]].
## The Discovery of Giants
**Cultural Event**
##### 214 AB
[[The Ordning]] and those that adhere to it, namely the giants, came to be discovered on a continent to the North of Galantor. Another elemental forge was discovered in this realm as well and it became known that magical artifacts could be imbued and created there. Some adventurers stirred the giants and the forge into disastrous action. The giants do not forget quickly those that have wronged them.
## The Glass Plague ([[2. Campaign Two - Landscape of Fear]])
**Disaster / Destruction**
##### 230 AB
The city of [[Keirhall]] heavily relied upon a mineral known as [[Coronite]]. It was a powerful conductor of magical energies and it united the Dwarves, Halflings, and Humans of the region under the banner of scientific discovery. Until the appearance of a figure known as [[The Wizard Prime]] who eradicated the Coronite. With its disappearance there was a plague that swept the land causing many Keirhallians to turn to glass and march into the mountains. Many of them were recovered by brave adventurers in the city, but not all. It is still recognized as a disaster by those that live there.
## The Appearance of the Final Two Primal Gods ([[4. Campaign Four - The Awakening of the Primal Gods]])
**Celestial / Cosmic**
##### 231 AB
The minor spirits from the Elemental Gods broke free from their binds and began to possess mortals so that they might grow empires of their own. This began in the village of [[Stone Cairn Vale]] and its sister city [[Banesford]].
## The Dragon Cult Uprising ([[5. Campaign Five - Lightning in the Desert]])
**Criminal - Cult Uprising**
##### 231 AB
A small group of adventurers discovers a plot to subjugate half of the city of [[Thalios]] and undoes a generational curse that severs a Draconic cult's influence over the [[Farthian Desert]]. Are more [[Dragon Cults]] lurking in the far reaches of Galantor?
