The Northern section of this sea is said to be riddled with the offspring of an ancient Aboleth's (Scarilax) minions. Abberant beasts reside in the depths according to the legends of Varg the Bard, who claims to have aided Star Spawn visitors in destroying the primordial psychic beast before he could raise an army of Deep Creatures and destroy Fourfield near the year of its inception.  It has been rumored that a Kraken was brought from another world to these waters but it has not been seen after it was gifted to an agent of the Hells known as Pallas Zion in the year AB 01. Since the removal of Scarilax the Merrow, Triton, and other watery denizens have flourished.
