#### Birthplace of Coronite
The town of [[Keirhall]] was founded by settlers that left [[Fourfield]] after the defeat of [[Vizier Terrorcry]]. A dwarven family, a halfling family, and a human family gathered their folk and headed through the Barrier mountains and settled in a land of rich ore and woods. This small town thrives off of its trade and skilled craftsmen. A magical ore was produced known as [[Coronite]] for nearly a century until it vanished from the mountains.
A rich history of worship, education, and woodcraft kept [[Fourfield]] afloat as the dwarven mining guilds refocused their efforts and mining endeavors.
The dwarven-halfling settlement a hundred years in the making. Dense clods of buildings in its center reveal a thriving young town quickly doing its damndest to be heralded as a metropolis. A man-made river plunges through it bisecting it from the farmlands on the Eastern shore. Small bergs of exquisite buildings and manufacturing compounds dominate the northern side, whilst quaint halfling estates sit lonesome and proud across the river with the farms. Smoke rises from the South below the curve of the river in which the Dwarven Guilds have proudly made their presence known to the realm through their refinement of the mysterious ore [[Coronite]].

## Coronite Refinery
A long row of squat stone buildings with grand bays and open stalls complete with large barn doors swung wide to allow for loading and unloading swiftly. Teamsters drinking over barrels while their horses cool off in the shade and graze, miners readying themselves for the trek South. The largest building in all of [[Keirhall]] resides here. Monstrous silos and grand stone walls topped with copper roofs and billowing narrow smokestacks sprawls in the midst of it all. Dwarven guards quietly stalk the entrances and few other than Guild Members are allowed in.
## Miner's Guild
Miner's Guild - The Miner's Guild Hall is located to the East of the Refinery off the river but still south of the river, separate from town. It, much like the refinery, hosts many a dwarf taking some form of leisure, but its monstrous columns are hand chiseled with great care. Monolithic stone slabs make up much of the great exterior walls soaring upward in true Dwarven fashion. An entry Wall detailed with reliefs of the Barrier Mountains glimmer and pop with the sun's angle piercing beyond the columns that protect them. A series of doors open and close leading to various offices within.
## Keirhall Shipyard
Keirhall Shipyard - The industrial ship yard stretches nearly a block in length along the Refinery River. Its gentle slope and piers with assembly cranes make the entire district look like a giant mechanical beast trying to grow out of the town. The local commissioner awaits people in a small wooden shed to apply to anything boat launching. Crews of Dwarves and Humans mill about the doc and haul materials about.
## Technocratic Assembler's Union
Technocratic Assemblers Union - An entire block of tinker workshops and planning buildings dedicated to the promotion of technology specializing in Coronite modification makes this the noisiest part of Keirhall. A double long block of buildings and workshops, somewhat independent of eachother span the row of buildings and sheds and awnings with a big dose of work ethic. Furnaces roar at every turn, homunculi chitter and flit about carrying spanners and wrenches, Gnomes banter, steam billows. This is a place of work, but the interior of the block is even busier with the big inventions most don't get to see.
## Holy Hall of the Mid Day Sun
Holy Hall of the Midday Sun - One of the few structures in Keirhall with a true tower attached to it. The tower itself knives its way upward into the sky and has a large golden fin at the top that gleams brightly in the mid day sun. On the courtyard in the bright morning light it shines down like a sundial for prayer. The white granite and gilded roof lines display the pure excellence of a bright day and are muted on cloudy or rainy days alike. A great domicile resides on the southern end of the temple for squires and pages and the main body is filled with offices for higher officials and a great chapel for worship and prayer. It is currently run by [[Kopesh]] and they are fervent worshipers of [[Estrel]].
## Academia Ens Primum
Academy of high study in all things Alchemical, Magical, and Historical, the Academia Ens Primum Stands proudly in the residential district just below the Mercantile squares. The building is made of stones from the Stellan Plains and it becomes quickly apparent to any passerby that this place is intentionally gaudy in the way it looks overtop its surrounding homes. The round field stones set with mortar, the iron fencing, the scholarly types sitting on stone benches along the street muttering quietly to themselves. It stands four stories high and sports wrapping balconies around each floor. Lanterns gleaming with white light at the corners. The very top floor appears to be a flat roof with guardrails and some sort of long steel apparatus. Some claim its used to harness the lightning itself.
## Halfton
Halfton - The exclusive neighborhood of the Halflings in Keirhall on the far side of the river gleams with excellence. The aroma of food lingers in the air at all hours and gardens sprawl at the corner of every street. Idyllic benches and children playing are common scenes in the three blocks of buildings here. The two noble families of Halflings have kept the neighborhood small and exclusive through legislation in the local government and it shows.
## Refinery River
This man made river runs through the heart of Keirhall fed by the Dwarfdozen Lakes to the North. Its once sparkling waters and carefully manicured edges have become less of late. The water fed from the lakes above has diminished mysteriously and left its banks low exacerbating the Coronite Refinery production. The bridges that dot the lake in Keirhall stand awkwardly triumphant over its paltry flow now. The River beyond the Refinery is rarely even spoken of as its apparent pollution is making the land rot visibly.
## Faire Grounds
KeirhallIans are one on any celebration taking place on these grounds. From carnival to festival. The grounds sprawl along the bank of the Refinery River at its most pure state flanked by multiple bridges spanning its clear waters. The grounds themselves are flatlands along the hilly rise upward to the Grave and Farmland and span for nearly a quarter mile of well kept land. If custodial services are seen setting up any decorations the town is sure to be abuzz.
## Graveyard
Quaint and quiet. Well maintained graves located here nestled in the farmlands of Halfton. The graveyard itself is open to all and well maintained by the Governor's offices and Guardsmen. The swaying of the crops in the winds here gives an eerie yet calming feel as you walk the slight hills and footpaths marked with memory of life.
## Founder's Fountain
Center of Keirhall Proper in which proclamations are made and the city celebrates the union of its peoples and river. The dusty square is constantly abuzz with folk moving, eating, talking, and more. Directly in the center of the square is a massive fountain. Its white granite rim sparkles with a dazzling display of water works that pour out of a central spigot twenty feet high. The Founder's Fountain shows the discovery of Coronite, the waters dancing down upon a halfling and a dwarf, tools cast to the basin holding a chunk of the raw ore in the air and marveling at it.
## Thieve's Guild "Cloak and Feather"
Cramped, desolate, quiet. Just the way the guild likes it. Bring your wares, sharpen your knives, collect your poisons, but keep your wits about you. A drunk in the front named Jacobin will take the code from you to let you in. The Row of homes interconnected appear to be simple residential blocks. A large crow can be seen atop the steep roof brackets that poke out from the overhangs. The windows are bright and look into a happy homestead replete with bustling families.
## Bowright Estate
Riverfront Property of the Bowright noble family is framed by two mossy stone bridges that land on either side of their Industrial Plaza. The estate itself is generous with two large sprawling buildings that house the small family. Tall walls and judiciously clean trim pattern the outside of the estate with razor steep pitched roof lines and outstanding turrets. The home itself conforms to no pattern but the whim of its creator in a manner both elegant and costly. Servants are always on the scene tending to the yard or preparing the coaches to take a Bowright into town over their private bridge.
## Bowright Industries
Shipmaking and exceptional woodcraft. Anything Bowright can be found here although the ship building industry has calmed since Refinery River has sunk so drastically. The Buildings themselves are industrial in nature and plain facades line the block with steady traffic. Several in-roads lead to the massive courtyard within beyond large iron gates. Crates upon crates are being unloaded at all times. Teamsters rushing to move their loads out of the way of other shipments. And a section partitioned within by long canvas tarpaulins covers a corner within. Most of the yard is used to create pieces of boats that can be transferred to the river for shipment to the sea.
## Library
Isolated from the general town for safety, here resides the library. Filled with tomes of knowledge and catalogues of the lands and the last 100 years.
Nestled by gardens and on the Northern outskirts of town, this plain building houses some of the most profound information collected by the Academia. A steady trickle of scholarly looking folk come and go from its schoolhouse style entry. The creak of the single wooden door lets those waiting in line know that they can move up in queue. The interior is a singular large room with a circular desk in the middle. The cantankerous librarian is as watchful as a hawk as he scoots his wheeled chair around to watch behind his half moon spectacles. If you want access to his annals you must keep yourself on this gnome's good side.
